The film was hit on the box office and was the second-highest-grossing movie of 2008. Anushka was in 2010's "Badmash Company" with Shahid Kapoor Meiyang Chang, Vir Das. The film received mixed praises. Anushka appeared in a film called Band Baaja Baaraat with Ranveer, where she played the role of a middle class, who establishes her own wedding-planning company. It was a surprise hit and received good reviews. Anushka's 3-film contract at Yash Raj Films ended with Band Baaja Baaraat.
