Shawnee Smith, born July 3rd, 1970 and standing 5'3 inches, is an American musician and actor. Smith is most well-known for playing Amanda Young in Saw and Linda in CBS the sitcom Becker. Smith fronted FydollaHo, a metal band that toured both the United States of America and Great Britain. Smith and Missi Pyle are half of Smith & Pyle a group of Desert Country-Rock. Shawnee Smith is the daughter of Jim Smith, a former US Air Force Pilot and financial planner who was also an oncology nursing. Smith was born in Orangeburg South Carolina. In Van Nuys, California the Smith family moved when she was a newborn. Their parents split at the age of two. Then, her mother got married at age 8. She was a student at Ranchito Avenue Elementary School in Panorama City Los Angeles and Madison Jr. High in North Hollywood. North Hollywood High School is situated within North Hollywood California. The actress was awarded The Critics Choice Award in 2017 for the best actress in a Television Comedy. In addition, the Primetime Emmy Award was given to her in the year 2019. She shared the award alongside Jack Dolgen, Adam Schlesinger and their songwriting partner. Presently, Rachel is doing a spring/summer 2023 concert tour to promote her show Death Let Me Do My Special. Rachel was able to sell her way through Radio City Music Hall by playing Crazy Ex-Girlfriend : Live in the course of a tour with multiple shows. That same year, she was also featured in her solo tour called What Am I Planning to Do with My Life Today. that included a one-week residency in the venue Just For Laughs.
